What is Teleport Assist?
Teleport Assist is a new feature of Teleport, the infrastructure access proxy used by DevOps teams to access SSH servers, Kubernetes, databases, and AWS Console. Teleport prevents phishing by moving away from static credentials towards ephemeral certificates.
Teleport Assist utilizes facts about your infrastructure to help answer questions, generate command line scripts, and help you perform routine tasks on target nodes. At the moment only SSH and bash are supported. Support for SQL, AWS API and Kubernetes is planned for the near future.
Teleport Assist is experimental. While we have tested this tool extensively, and it cannot perform actions without your approval, it is possible for generative AI to offer incorrect responses. Use caution, and validate all outputs.
Getting Started
Sign up for a free Teleport trial account. No credit card is required.
Enroll a few resources (Linux Servers, Kubernetes Clusters, Databases, etc).
Click on the "Assist" button in the top left dropdown menu.
